Hand over Mouth Smothering
Hand over mouth smothering would be when a person puts their hand over someones mouth and nose to smother them. You cannot smother someone by putting your hand just over the mouth. You must have your hand over all of the airways. This means closing the nose off also. If you are trying to smother someone it will take more than a couple seconds it takes a few minutes.
