Hmm, this question could be up for debate. When you think about men wearing skirts/dresses, what comes to mind? They are gay, right? Men who choose to be "fashionable" may just be fulfilling a fantasy of theirs. Have you ever thought about the Scottish? Scottish men wear kilts. Other cultures allow for men wearing skirts. There is absolutely nothing wrong with men wearing skirts. Women wear everything men wear so us men should, and do, have the same rights as women. I'm a 40 year old heterosexual man and have been wearing skirts/dresses with pantyhose and heels regularly since I was a young child.

It's not that uncommon to see men wearing skirts where I live and in all different lengths from above the knee to brushing the ground. I mean, real skirts, not kilts. Of course, we still have a fairly sizeable hippie population, so that probably accounts for some of this.
