Hubris Greek Mythology
Hubris is an important theme through much of Greek mythology. In many myths, the overbearing or excessive pride of an individual is usually what leads to their downfail.This is hubris. For example, Achilles believed himself invincible and was eventually defeated because of this belief. Other examples of hubris in Greek mythology can be seen in the stories of Agamemnon, Oedipu, and Creon.
