Ilocano Epics

Philippene or Ilocano epic poetry was the embellished way the early Filipino culture carried on their history and mythology. Most often, the title of the epic would be the name of the hero of the tale. Each tribe had tales to tell about their hero, like in the case of the Bagobo tribe, and their hero, Tuwaang.
