List of Classic Literature
It's difficult to find just one list of classic literature because there are so many great works that need to be included. Due to the growth of the information superhighway, there are now organized lists of classic literature that were not readily available 20 years ago. There is a website that offers a list of classic literature lists such as the "Top 10 books by John Steinbeck," "Top 4 American novels: 1900-1909," and "Top 10 books by Washington Irving," to name a few.
