Ode Poem

An ode poem is a poem to praise a person, place, or object that is normally identified in the topic. Most ode topics are merely 'Ode to xxxx'). It usually describes a scene, then focuses on a problem or situation, and then ends at a conclusion. The ode was often put to music and accompanied by dance, and originated as a serious poetic form.
