And I have spend a lot of time in nursing homes with aged parents--now deceased. That poem reminded me so much of my Father who died at 92. He had two sons--I was the youngest and the care-giver--and a loving wife who preceded him in death by 18 years.

This poem was written through the tears and suffering brought upon me by the death of my best friend, my grandmother. It describes what I pretend it was like when she passed on, and the feelings I would have felt had I been there.
