Summary of the Storm by Kate Chopin
The Storm, a short story by Kate Chopin can be summarized as a brief affair between two characters Calixta and Alcee. The story begins with Calixta's husband being away during the onset of at storm, at which time Alcee approaches Calixta's house searching refuge from the same approaching storm. Calixta allows him in and then realizes that she is very attracted to him at which time they sit by a window and begin to embrace. After the storm Alcee leaves and Calixta's husband returns. All character's worlds return back to normal state.
