Tear Jerker Songs

Some songs were written specifically as tear-jerker songs, and others were just written so badly that they evoke tears from those who have the misfortune to hear them. One of those in the latter cateory is "Feelings," by Albert Morris, who wails the song title throughout this desolate little number. Another badly written tear producer is "Seasons in the Sun," by Terry Jacks, in which he bemoans, "Good-bye my friend, it's hard to die. When all the birds are singing in the sky..." This is joined with "Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro as one of the ultimate misguided tear-jerkers.
