APX Alarm Complaints
According to www.ConsumerAffairs.com there are a lot of APX alarm complaints. Most for the contract not being full spelled out for the consumer. Agreeing to a 60 month contract but being mislead that it could be canceled at any time. Other complaints included unprofessional installers and customer service reps. In 2009 alone there were over 18 customer complaints filed on this company with Consumer Affairs. Review all Apex Alarm complaints ... I am appalled by APX alarm (I am serviced by a dealer, Security Associates International.) Their customer service reps will literally argue with you and talk over you on the phone. I've been under contract for a year and a half, with a wireless transmitter.

The Maryland Attorney General's Office has received two complaints from customers of Provo-based APX Alarm Security Solutions Inc. -- a company that recruits students from local universities to sell and install security systems each summer.

Good news and bad news for APX Alarm. They may win the complaint battle with the AG. The elderly lady who said she wasn't allowed to cancel got all mixed up with dates and now says she isn't sure of the dates when her home I bet Neil Glessner who organized the complaints for these ladies is even more angry now.

APX Alarms have been in business since 1999, with clients nationwide. APX will install your alarm, but your monitoring will be provided by Security Associates International (www.sai-inc.com), who operate two monitoring centers in the U.S. (Pompano, FL, and Arlington Heights, IL).

I used to be a salesmen for APX Alarm. It sounded like a great summer job that help potential for big $$$ for me if I could be an effective salesman. I sold an account on my first day...beginner's luck! I sold an account on my second day!
