Different Types of Communication
There are two types of communication. These are receptive and expressive communication. Receptive is the perception of what's intended by the other party. Expressive is the outgoing words, signs, gestures, or facial expressions towards them. Oftentimes, people with communication disorders will remain nonexpressive but still have an average level of receptive vocabulary.
