A code of conduct is a helpful tool to assist companies in communicating a set of a common guidelines for employee behavior and accepted business practices. The code should be written and be reviewed with all newly hired employees. In addition, it's wise to also review the guidelines with employees on an annual basis. Each business will wish to tailor their code to their industry and business. However, there are some commonalities among many codes of conduct.
