Lay Cinder Block
There are a few things that you need to remember in order to lay cinder block properly. The size of the cinder block needs to be factored in when planning. Laying the blocks directly on the ground isn't recommended. Test it out by building it up dry the first time around. Always use a level while you are working. Don't forget to stagger your blocks.

I have chosen cinder blocks to build this wall because they are relatively inexpensive and easy for a novice to use (I hope!). I understand that you can get a nice effect by coating cinder block walls with plaster.
