Quality Assurance
Quality assurance is a process that is systematic and seeks to ensure that products and services are carried out to meet certain requirements. Without quality assurance, businesses would be ruined as a result of customer complaints and product recalls. Therefore, the quality assurance department or team plays a critical role in providing quality and consistent products and services and ultimately customer satisfaction. The process includes design, development, production and service. In the health care industry, the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) oversees quality standards and you can visit their website at http://www.ncqa.org/.
