Seer Comparison
SEER ratings refer to the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio of such HVAC equipment as heat pumps. The term HVAC stands for heating, ventilation + air conditioning. The higher the SEER ratings the more energy efficient the unit will be. Handy SEER comparison charts are available online to help you determine your overall energy costs. Check out www.hvacopcost.com for a quick calculation. One quick note, you will need to add a few additional details such as your homes' overall square footage to obtain the calculations.
