Types of Pumps
There are many types of pumps and most are put into groups according to what they do. First, there is the General Pumps which include air-operated pumps, chemical injection pumps, and pump diffusers. The next group is Centrifugal Pump Flow Types which include axial pump flow and mixed pump flow. Another big group is the Positive Displacement Pumps which contains the rotary pump, the gear pump and the plunger pump.
