Why Is Economics Important

The study of economics is very important. Economics equals money. Money makes the world go round. There is no time like the present that can help us understand why the economy and its condition is so very important. Studying economics helps us understand trends, and can also help us avoid making the same mistakes twice. A person who tells you that economics is not important will be poor for the rest of their life.

Short answer, it isn’t important. Long answer, to the extent that economics is an accurate predictor of curative measures for an ailing economy or predictive of ways to improve the economy, it is important.
