2 computers share 1 printer. There are two ways to share a printer between two computers. First is by using a switch. Figure out if your printer is connected with a USB cable or a parallel port cable, and then purchase either a USB or parallel port switching device. If your computers are set up on a home network, a switch is not neccessary, simply boot up the computer that the printer is installed on, go into the printers section of the Control Panel, right click the printer icon and choose sharing. Easiest answer(s) to your problem: 1) Spend some money on a print server and hook it to the router to share it with all computers or; 2) Connect printer to one computer and share it. You'll be required to leave the computer running for printing availability at all times.
