My computer has been slowing down lately. I notice it mainly when connecting to the internet or when surfing the net. In the past I had this problem and spyware or malware was the culprit. I have updated and run Adaware, Spybot, my Norton antivirus and Panda ware active scan.

At startup my Compaq 7500 running XP take ages to startup. Using Task Manager you can see a huge number of processes have been started up.
