Computer Slow Startup
If this is happening to you, you might want to let it all start up and go into system tools thought the control panel. or you can click on my computer on the desktop and right click and go to propertys and click on defrag and then after that you can do a clean up. that should work

Ok, so you do all of these things and your computer is still running oh so slow! Well, maybe you have too many things loading up at Startup and running in the background. Nearly every software program you have installed is probably doing just that.

My computer has been slowing down lately. I notice it mainly when connecting to the internet or when surfing the net. In the past I had this problem and spyware or malware was the culprit. I have updated and run Adaware, Spybot, my Norton antivirus and Panda ware active scan.

At startup my Compaq 7500 running XP take ages to startup. Using Task Manager you can see a huge number of processes have been started up.
