Free APA style templates can be downloaded from most reputable websites. The APA style format, designed by the American Psychological Association, is the most widely accepted format for students composing and properly citing written works. The key features of an APA style include: names and order of headings, formatting and organization of citations and references. It also specifies how tables, figures, footnotes and appendices should be organized within the document. The American Psychological Association has just released a newly-expanded 6th edition which focuses on publication ethics, statistics, and electronic reference formats.
