Columbia Southern University is an accredited member of the DETC which is recognized nationally.
This school is one of the nations first distance learning Universities and was developed in 1993, the University it self was founded 1945 by Dr. Robert Mayes.
Dr. Mayes goal was to provided a great education program for people with really hectic schedules, he wanted everyone to still be able to get there degrees even if they had to work or was to busy at home with the kids.
They have enrolled over 17,000 students into there Universities, stay at home moms and dads, military personnel and other occupations wishing to pursue a new degree.
