Cursive Writing

A current debate is taking place in regard to handwriting. According to a recent Time Magazine article from its August 3rd, 2009 issue, cursive writing is a dying form of communication. The article, entitled, "Mourning the Death of Handwriting" claims that for those born after 1980, cursive writing is at best a sloppy, randomly practiced form of writing. This is the generation that grew up with computers. For them, texting or typing via computer is their means. If they're going to write something, chances are they'll be printing.
