How Do I Cite a Textbook in a Bibliography

When writing a paper it is important to give credit where credit is due. If you use information from a textbook then you must give credit. Therefore you must cite the book within the text and in the bibliography. In the text you first put the information from the text book in quotations. Then you put the authors last name followed by the page you found the infomation on. In the bibliography use this order: Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial. In italics put the title of the book. If applicable the edition and volume come next. The city it was published then a colon and the publishing company. If applicable the last thing you put is the series of the book.
