C. Teacher Licensure, Endorsements and Praxis Scores, Rule; The Background: Several endorsements on teacher licenses were recently eliminated, effective August 31, 2007 and 2008. Those revisions are in Board Rule 0520-2-3-.21. Board Rule 0520-2-4-.05 lists the examinations and required scores for available endorsements.

Of the 259 TTU education majors who took the Educational Testing Service’s PRAXIS II teacher licensing exams last year, 256 passed, earning a 99 percent success rate for the university and exceeding the state’s 96 percent average.
