Reed College is in a southeast Portland neighborhood, five miles from the downtown area and 12 miles from Portland International Airport. The campus is easily accessible from downtown locations and major highways.

Classics majors are strongly urged to consider applying to the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies (ICCS), administered by Duke Univesity and of which Reed College is a member. ICCS offers the opportunity for intensive study of the archaeology, history, and art of Rome, and of Greek and Latin literature.
