Earwig Bites
Earwig bites are actually slight pinches and do feel that way that way to humans. The pinch is sometimes considered to feel like a very mild electric shock. A earwig pinch will not transfer diseases and is generally harmless. The bite (or pinch) is typically used as a defense against other insects or bugs and to capture prey. These pinches generally don't leave a mark.
