The Electric Slide is a line dance that was created in 1976. The creator of the Electric Slide is Ric Silver, who also claims to have invented "the robot" dance. The Electric Slide was first named the Electric Boogie. The Electric Slide consists of a basic four wall line dance. The Electric Slide is generally performed at social functions like weddings.
