The simplest way to explain it is that you should put yourself inside a 50 gallon drum. And have someone bang against the outside with a baseball bat! Again, you do not realize that when a heavy base tone boom-box is playing, loudly, you who are next to it hear the singer, music, and the beat...but the B-O-O-M-I-N-G of the deep, heavy base tone travels through the air, through walls, through floods-and is heard and felt quite a distance away...much to the annoyance of neighbors, friends, and people-who are blocks away from your place.

Keep in mind, most speakers arnt designed to go over that limit because of interferance with animals as in your case and i dont think your next door neighbor would like there dogs constantly barking at your stereo. ... Yes, it is called the Annoy-a-Thing, but that emits a regular beep while this one emits a high ... What if your neighbors have kids/teens?
