OH My Love My Darling I've Hungered for Your Touch
The words "oh my love, my darling, I've hungered for your touch" are lyrics to the song "Unchained Melody." This song was written and originally performed by the musical duo the Righteous Brothers. In the 90s it was remade by pop-country star LeAnn Rimes. Both the original and the remake received critical acclaim and many awards for it's composition and performance. The Righteous Brothers version was repopularized when played in an especially romantic scene in the movie "Ghost" starring Patrick Swayze. The lyrics to the song are a touching ode to a lover gone away, and time's passing. The singer reflects upon this from the opening phrase "oh my love, my darling, I've hungered for your touch, a long, lonely time."
