Ostentatious

Ostentatious is a word often used to describe someone or something that is flashy, showy, generally over the top. Sometimes people with great wealth that indulge in big material things such a yachts and mansions and gaudy jewelery are described as ostentatious. It is often times used as an insult to someone who maybe doesn't show much decorum with their fortune.
