Pitch Card Game
Most people know the pitch card game to be played with a standard 52-card deck.There's a popular variation of All fours which may be played by three to seven players. Pitch involves bidding and trick-taking, and may include betting or gambling.

Whereas card game books tend to concentrate on Cutthroat Pitch, most of the e-mail I get is about Partnership Pitch, and this preference is reflected in the balance of information on this page. I have the impression that Cutthroat Pitch is more often played on the coasts, and usually for money.
