I found it hard to find the alcohol content of this beer as well; one site claims 6.0%, but this is the same site that reports a 6.0 for Modelo Especial, so who knows how reliable that information is. According to Corona's site, one 12 ounce bottle contains 169 Calories.

its smooth as hell, easy to drink, but i read everywhere that it has 6% alcohol percentage and thats hard to believe considering how smooth it is. If you like corona and pacifico, then you will like modelo especial.

Modelo Especial has slightly more alcohol content than most beers I have tried before (6% instead of the 5% content most of mine tend to have). I don't really feel much of a change when the percentage rate differential is that small, however.
