Broiling T Bone Steak

Broiling a t bone steak is easy. First you will need to pre-heat your oven on broil. Next to season your steak rub both sides with olive or canola oil. This will allow your seasonings to stick better during broling. Next rub the steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and any other seasonings you like. Place the steak in the broiler and cook about eight to nine minutes on each side (for medium cooked steak). Remove the steak and put it on a plate. Let it set for about five minutes before serving. Enjoy.

T-bone steaks are cut from the center of the short loin and are so-called because of the T-shaped bone that separates the smaller section of tenderloin from the larger top loin part. Some of my overseas friends think of T-bones as quintessentially American, and they are a popular cut among steak connoisseurs.
