Does Alcohol Expire

Alcohol and whiskey will last a long time, if kept tightly closed, and in a dark space. It is possible for alcohol to expire, it varys depending on the type of alcohol it is. Sometimes wine can age for a hundred years, but will cost you more to buy. Once you open a bottle of wine, you should drink it immediately. Beer doesn't age well at all. Pasteurised beer can last a year or so on the shelf. Anything with cream or milk can start going bad soon after opening unless the alcohol content is over 20 percent.
