I want to say dromedary date nut bread and or B&M date nut bread in the can were two brands of the date nut bread. One of the companys also make mince meat in a jar and the hard sauce to go with it.

This is the one to replace Dromedary Date Nut Bread in a can . . . only better. I took MAS13's suggestion and added an additional tablespoon of butter. Nice and moist. Just like I remember . . . a slice of date nut bread, cream cheese, and some drained crushed pineapple.
