Glazed Doughnut Recipe

When making Glazed Doughnuts you will need to have the following, (eggs, flour, sugar, milk,salt, yeast, and shortening) items.(prepare the yeast before you add it to your mixture place the cakes of your selected amount in a small amount of water) The first step is to get a large mixing bowl. Pour in the bowl these contents by the selected measurements. 2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. of sugar, 2 eggs, 2 c. of lukewarm milk mix well. 1 or 2 cakes of dissolved yeast. Gradually add 7 c of flour to the mixture to let it raise,(cover the bowl with plastic wrap let it sit until you see the mixture rise), now prepare your cooking oil to be set at high heat. Once your dough has set for the required amount of time Roll out the the dough an cut out the doughnuts with a doughnut cutter, and let that rise before frying. Drop each doughnut into the oil. Once it floats an is golden brown remove from deep fryer. Remove excess oil. Glaze ingredients. you will need 1 lb. of confectioner's sugar, 1 tsp. of butter, 1 tsp. of vanilla, 1 tsp. of plain gelatin ( dissolve in 1/2 c. of boiling water) boil until syrupy. Pour the glaze over the hot fried doughnuts an let them sit when cooled enjoy!
