Hmm. There's nothing you can do to get them to ripen or soften quickly. Don't use the microwave. A cooked avocado is kind of yukky. In the future, you can put them in a paper bag with a banana. :eek: Bananas produce ethylene gas that cause fruit to ripen.

It's Saturday night here in Kiwi country. We are in Auckland now at our hostel and getting ready to go to bed even though it's only 9:30 pm. We fly out in the morning at 6:30 am which means being at the airport at 4:30 which means yuck I don't even want to think about it. ... the beach. That was quite a cool experience.
