How Many Ounces Are in a Shot Glass

In the USA single shot glass. also known as a jigger, holds one and a half fluid ounces. A double shot glass, three fluid ounces and a smaller, pony shot holds one fluid ounce. Usually used for fine liqueurs and aged spirits. Most other countries have three standard size shot glasses, just like the USA. The fluid ounces vary.
