Linseed oil is not something usually associated as edible oil. Rather it is primarily used in industry. Linseed oil is derived from the Flax plant and therefore is also referred to as flaxoil. The flax plant grows to a height of around 3 feet and the oil is obtained from the fruit of the plant, which is a pod/capsule.
