Nostalgic

The word nostalgic can be described as a sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time. Everyone tends to enter moments in their life when they, "wax nostalgic", meaning that they start thinking of times and places from their past, usually thinking of those moments in a pleasant manner. It could be while watching an old television show or movie. It could be while seeing an older model car. It may be while visiting with some old friends. It's often when going through photo albums and watching home-made movies. Some people experience being nostalgic more than others, but virtually everyone does it some time.
