Hello, I gave this recipe 5 stars after modifying it a bit. Thanks to all those posters before me for their advice! My husband now rates my version of this soup ("smoky salmon chowder") as his favorite soup we've tried thus far!

This is a hearty but mild flavored fish chowder. It's a great way to use a piece of salmon that's too small to do much else with.
