I've taken a liking to the rusty nail but the price of a bottle of drambuie is just too much. My main liquor store didn't seem to have any generics but are there any out ... and there's the American Honey produced by Wild Turkey but there just isn't a substitute for Drambuie; there's nothing else like it, anywhere.

We didn't have any drambuie but I researched and found that whiskey would be a suitable substitute so I added that (also no halved) into the pot. The end results were great tasting. Wonder how it would have tasted if I had made it all correctly!
