I have a recipe which calls for 2 ripe avocados. I bought mine ... Hmm. There's nothing you can do to get them to ripen or soften quickly. Don't use the microwave. A cooked avocado is kind of yukky. In the future, you can put them in a paper bag with a banana. :eek: Bananas produce ethylene gas that cause fruit to ripen.
