He could have gone anywhere and the man chose to fly 2,000 miles to Chicago, pick up a Giordano's pizza, and then turn around and fly another 2,000 miles back home. That's an extra 1,500 miles of travel for some pizza.

@christopher: It's not the spoilage I'm concerned about here. I don't think pizza will spoil outside the fridge overnight. It's the bugs. This is New York, after all. You can't just leave food out; it invites the cucarachas.

The pizza went into the oven as soon as it was heated to 480 degrees. At that high temperature, however, the oil was smoking pretty badly. I was afraid that the smoke would spoil the flavor, so I turned the temp down until the crust looked light brown.

i made pizza ... One of these days, I’ll get around to making my own pizza crust but the naan was a great(easy) substitution. Hopefully, it won’t be so long until my next post. I’ve eaten some really AMAZING blog-worthy meals but I have just gotten in the habit of not photographing or blogging.
