Special music was provided by soloist Mitchell Deems who sang "Stroll Over Heaven" and "Beulah Land," with Lila Deems accompanying at the piano. Interment followed at the Rocky Pond Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Chris Joiner, Tom Cauley, Alvin Batten, Owen Ray Batten, Ricky Batten, and Jimmy Batten.
