Bladder Tack Surgery

Bladder tack surgery is a surgery where the bladder is raised back up to its normal position. It is a surgery commonly completed for several different ailments. One is bladder prolapse. This is when the bladder falls lower than it was previously. This can cause an unsightly bulge in the abdomen and also difficulty urinating, incontinence or pain during intercourse. In a few cases however it causes no symptoms at all. Bladder tack surgery is also done in some cases simply because of incontinence. Both incontinence and prolapse can occur following the birth of a baby or just normal aging. Bladder tack surgery is relatively simple, is done under general anesthesia and a person only stays in the hospital for a day or two. You can return to normal activities in about 6 weeks, but need to avoid heavy lifting or strenuous activities for 3 months to completely heal. http://www.webmd.com/urinary-incontinence-oab/repair-of-the-bladder-or-urethra
