Burning Sensation in Stomach

If you are having a burning sensation in your stomach, you should go see your physician. He will be able to evaluate you and properly diagnose you to get the proper treatment for your problem. If you are having weight loss, vomiting, GI bleeding, or black bowel movements you should defiantly get in to see your physician immediately these are a few signs of a possible serious problem. Until you get to go see your doctor, you can try using some antacids like Tums, Pepcid, or Tagamet. You should also try avoiding spicy food as this can irritate your stomach. If your symptoms get worse or you get new onset symptoms you will want to see your doctor immediately.
