Caffeine affects on the human body are not good for a person if you drink too much. Caffeine once consumed is it readily absorbed in the body and carried around in the bloodstream. Levels peak about one hour after consumption. Caffeine is best known for its wake effect or its stimulant. Caffeine decreases fatigue by stimulating the nervous and cardiovascular system. It also increases blood flow, respiratory rate and metabolic rate for several hours. If taken before bedtime it can interfere with getting to sleep and staying asleep.
