Can Second Hand Smoke Make You Fail a Drug Test
Second hand smoke most likely, will not make you fail a drug test. Second-hand smoke can leave traces of chemicals in your urine for a day or so. However, the amount is usually not enough to make you test positive. To test positive for smoke the environment would have to be thick as to irritate the eyes of those present. Avoiding smoke-filled cars, unventilated rooms, and other enclosed smoky spaces can aid in preventing the inhalation of second hand smoke.

 It's possible - but rare - for an individual to inhale enough second-hand smoke to flunk a drug test.

I recently spoke with a graduate who had accepted employment, only to fail the drug test. Reason? ... It can still be absorbed into your system and produce a positive test result. I didnt inhale . . . is not a valid response. And sufficient second-hand smoke exposure can also cause failure of standard urine drug tests.

I can tell you from years of experience that casual 2nd hand smoke will not fail a drug test, however, if by 2nd hand you mean a "supercharge", you fail !! LOL. ...
