Cause of Burst Blood Vessels under Skin
The main cause for broken blood vessels under the skin is aging. As we age, our skin gets more fragile and things don't heal as quickly since our cell turnover slows. This can lead to bruising and bleeding from these vessels especially if it is injured or rubbed or pulled in any way. Legs are especially susceptible since so much pressure is put on them and they are used everyday. If you stand a lot on hard surfaces or don't wear proper footwear, it can make things even worse.
